WIFTIN is a non-profit that helps members grow their careers in the movie industry.
WIFTIN helps members from Nigeria grow, advance and sustain their careers and businesses on a local, provincial, national and international level. Through the generous support of foundations, corporations, and individuals, WIFTIN provides networking opportunities, mentorships, information, professional development and events for its members and the public.
All new memberships will be voted on by the Board of Directors. All applications for admission are approved unless denied by a resolution of the Board within 30 days after the application and payment have been received.
The student must be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program or within 12 months of their graduation date.

For women who work and have 10 years+ professional experience in the screen-based media industry.

It does not matter when you join WIFTIN. Your new membership term will run for 12 months from the date you join. We will notify you 30 days in advance of your membership renewal date.
There are three levels of membership: Student, Associate and Professional Membership.
Yes, there are requirements for each of our member levels. Those requirements are as follows:

As a member of WIFTIN, you are automatically a member of Women in Film & Television International (WIFTI), which is your link to other organizations. WIFTI asks all organizations to welcome a member from another organization for up to three months of reciprocal benefits. If there is a charge for a program, you qualify for the member rate.
The best way to reach out to other WIFTIN members is through our Member-only facebook group. The facebook group puts the expertise of hundreds of media professional at your fingertips. Members use the facebook group to post jobs, gain on the spot technical advice, learn about training opportunities, screenings and grants, and keep up on industry happenings.
